Anemia cause the recurrent outbreak of angina cordis

Keyword:anemia coronary haemoglobin i
The criteria for anemia according to the World Health Organization provisions is: haemoglobin: Male <12g/dl, female <11g / dl. Indexing of anemia: haemoglobin 12-9.1g/dl is mild; 9.0-6 .1g/dl moderate; 6.0-3.1g/dl severe.

The outbreak of angina pectoris is related to the aggravation of coronary ischemia resulting from anemia. There are three common reasons for myocardial ischemia. First is that during unit of time the blood flow through coronary reduces, for instance myocardial ischemia caused by coronary artery stenosis. Second reason is that excessive physical activity or emotional excitement increases the myocardial oxygen consumption resulting in myocardial ischemia. Third is the reduction of the blood formed elements, such as anemia induces myocardial ischemia. The oxygen human body needs is transported by haemoglobin contained in red blood cell. If haemoglobin in patient with anemia is reduced by half, even though coronary artery is normal without stenosis, as well as no reduction of his blood flow, the oxygen obtained by cardiac muscle has been reduced by half. Then the body need promote blood flow by accelerating the heart rate, and by strengthening myocardial contractility. Such a compensation inevitably increases the workload of the heart, which leads to the increase of myocardial oxygen consumption. The incidence of angina pectoris will be increased, forming a vicious circle.

Anemia cause the recurrent outbreak of angina cordisWhen there are 6 grams of haemoglobin, the heart compensates through accelerating the contraction and enhancing the frequency. Consequently, it appears sinus tachycardia and other symptoms. The electrocardiogram may occur low voltage ST segment low and T-wave flat or inverted.etc changes causing angina cordis. At this moment, patients should immediately cease their activities, have a rest by sitting or lying position, quickly hold a piece of nitroglycerin in the mouth. It generally will be effective in 2-3 minutes.
