The heart beat of a normal adult is 60 - 100 times per minute, and if it is more than 100 times, the heart beat is too fast, which is called as tachycardia in medicine.

Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia is characterized by sudden onset and sudden termination, most lasting for several minutes or even hours, and is accompanied by palpitation, shortness of breath, dizziness, fear, fatigue, sensation of precordial pressure or sensation of asphyxia, and even heart failure, syncope and so on. The heart rate is 160-250 times per minute, with a regular rhythm. When attacking, patients should immediately rest, and their concerns should be eliminated.

1.Suddenly forcibly cough.
2.Big mouth to take food or drink water. 
3.To bend the head backward, or to bend the body forward as far as possible.
4.To hold the breath after a deep inspiration, and then forcibly perform the action of deeply breathing.
5.To use a spatula or chopsticks to stimulate the throat, causing nausea and vomiting. In addition, acupuncturing at Neiguan(PC6), Tongli (HT5), and Shenmen (HT7) and other acupuncture points are valid. If the above treatments fail, it should seek medical treatments.
