Optimists are not susceptible to suffer from heart disease

According to overseas media reports, one study from the Health Promotion Centre of the United States John Hopkins University shows that the possibility of suffering from heart disease for optimists is significantly lower than that of pessimists. The study selected 586 people as objects among 30 to 59 years old persons who have family history of heart disease. Those people do not have heart disease, but their brothers and sisters had suffered from heart disease in childhood. After 5 to 12 years of the follow-up survey to those people, researchers found that 70 people during this period have been troubled by various degrees of heart disease, and optimists with heart disease was only half the number of pessimists with heart disease. The researchers noted that the prevention of heart disease is more effective to have more joy than to take some medicines.
