Regular blood donation can be effective in preventing heart disease

An American study suggests that blood donation can save other people's lives, but also can reduce their risk of heart disease. The medical profession is aware that, the incidence of women coronary heart disease before menopause was significantly lower than men, but in post-menopausal morbidity and mortality were significantly increased. The current studyconsidered that pre-menopausal women can reduce the body's excessive iron by menstrual cycle, which is the important reason that they can maintain a healthy circulatory system.
"Journal of the American Medical Association" published an article which lasted six years to complete reports. Their study for persons aged 43 to 87-year-old men and women, and the total number of 1277 people. Because that the pre-menopausal women can remove the body's excess iron by menstrual cycle, so the chances of heart disease is relatively small. Regular blood donation can also achieve this effect.
